Our default process is to recommend the Spotify promo tier that we believe will be the most cost-effective, highest converting promo for each specific song.

Factors that come into play with this decision making process for each song include:

  1. The content of the track (genre, sub-genre, mood, functionality, tempo, explicit or clean, etc.), as well as the Spotify playlist curators in our network that have an affinity for your style of song.
  2. The commerciality of your song and the potential for it to resonate outside of your particular musical niche.

Occasionally, we may also provide the highest promo tier that we can do for the song if it’s not our first recommendation so that artists can choose to spring for a harder push on their song if they so choose.

For most artists doing a first time promotion with us, we recommend a Spotify Silver or Spotify Gold (unless they’ve expressed that they would like to promote at a higher budget to grow faster). 

This is so that we (us and the client) can “test out” our services with their music, then move forward scaling with higher investments once we have results-based proof that this service is serving the artist and their goals well.
